UPC says it worked closely with the Government and Gardaí in the last few months to establish a system of banning access for people trying to view child pornography.

It is the only web company out of the 28 main internet providers in the country to have signed up to a voluntary code of practice with the Gardaí restricting access to child abuse material, according to the Irish Examiner.
