Gardaí renew appeal on 15th anniversary of teen's murder
Gardaí are renewing their appeal for information about the murder of Raonaid Murray 15 years ago.
The 17-year-old was found dead less than 500 yards away from her home in Glenageary on Dublin's southside.
Investigating officers say solving her murder is of the "utmost priority" - and any information will be treated with full confidentiality.
To this day, members of the Serious Crime Review and Dun Laoghaire Gardaí have still been investigating the case.
On the anniversary of her death, both the Gardaí and Raonaid's family have called on the public to come forward with any information which could assist those inquiries.
Raonaid left her workplace at the Sally West clothes shop in Dun Laoghaire with a friend at about 9pm on September 3, 1999, and went to Scott's pub in the town.
She left Scott's at about 11.20 to change before going to a nightclub.
Raonaid's house was about a 15 minute walk from the pub, and her body was found at Silchester Cresent in Glenageary at 12.33 am on Saturday, less than 500 yards away from home.
Gardaí said they are still following "extensive lines of inquiry" and say solving this murder is of the "utmost priority".
They're calling for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 25 00 25.
