Gardaí investigate suspected gangland murder in Dublin

A man has been shot dead in a suspected gangland murder in Dublin.

The gun attack happened at Marrsfield Avenue in Clongriffin, North Dublin at 1.15pm this afternoon.

The dead man was aged in his mid 30's, and his body remains at the scene.

Gardaí say a number of shots were fired and they are now appealing for witnesses.
