Woman convicted of manslaughter to be deported to Czechia this week

A woman who was jailed for the manslaughter of her partner will be deported to the Czech Republic this week, the Irish Examiner has learned.

Olesja Hertova, 51, was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison, after pushing her partner James ‘Shey’ Ryan, 69, to the ground during a row outside their home in Balbriggan, north Dublin on August 10, 2024. He was taken to Beaumont hospital where he died from catastrophic head injuries.
