There will be no restrictions in Irish airspace caused by the Icelandic ash cloud for at least the next 24 hours, the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has said.

Issuing its 3pm update this afternoon, the IAA said that based on the latest information from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC) in London, all Irish airports are set to remain open.
