Yates: Competition and fall-off in demand led to company collapse

Ivan Yates has said a combination of an increase in betting-shop numbers and a fall in demand for their services led to the collapse of his company Celtic Bookmakers.

A receiver was appointed yesterday to the company, which employs 237 people.
