An Irish citizen is believed to have been among more than 70 people killed in bomb attacks in Uganda as they watched the World Cup final.

An Irish citizen is believed to have been among more than 70 people killed in bomb attacks in Uganda as they watched the World Cup final.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is providing consular assistance to the family of the woman, thought to be aged 50, and appealed for privacy.
