The family of an Irishman killed in the Haiti earthquake has set up a charity to honour his memory.

The family of an Irishman killed in the Haiti earthquake has set up a charity to honour his memory.

Forty-four-year-old UN worker Andrew Grene died when the UN building in Haiti collapsed on January 12.

His body was flown home to Ireland today ahead of his funeral tomorrow in Belturbet, County Cavan.

His family has established the Andrew Grene Foundation, a charity dedicated to educating the children of Haiti.
