Brown says murders will not shake peace process

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has insisted that the political process in the North will not be shaken by murder of two British soldiers on Saturday night.

Mr Brown was speaking as he prepared to meet the North's political leaders in Stormont today.

This morning, he visited the Co Antrim army base where the soldiers were shot dead by the Real IRA while collecting a pizza delivery.

The British PM says those behind the attack were "callous murderers" and "terrorists who showed no sympathy towards people who were dying".

The two soldiers who died in the attack have been named as 23-year-old Mark Quinsey, from Birmingham, and 21-year-old Patrick Azimkar, from Wood Green in London.
