Gardaí in Dublin investigating the death of David Whyte have renewed their appeal for information this afternoon.

Mr Whyte's body was found in undergrowth beside Stewart's Hospital in Palmerstown at 5.30pm on the evening of Friday September 26.

In particular Gardaí want to speak to anyone who has information on his whereabouts in the 24 hours before his body was found.

Anyone who had contact with him during that period is asked to contact Ballyfermot Garda Station on 01 666 7200 or the Garda confidential line 1800 666 111.

It is known Mr Whyte was in Phibsborough at around midnight on Thursday September 24.
