Gardaí raid three cannabis-growing operations

Gardaí have arrested three people following raids on a number of houses in Longford and Roscommon where cannabis was being grown.

The raids were carried out at around 7am in Castlerea, Strokestown and Drumlish.

Gardai say around €500,000 worth of cannabis was seized at the houses.

Two men and a woman are being questioned about the seizures at garda stations in Boyle, Roscommon and Longford.
