Students who paid thousands for a Portobello Institute course say they cannot register to teach PE, despite completing their studies

Portobello Institute changed the course description of the contentious PE course on its website.

The graduate diploma in physical education at Portobello Institute was originally pitched as a “pathway” to becoming a PE teacher.

PE has always been on the curriculum, but in 2018, it was added as a Leaving Cert exam subject.
