Adams urges Quinn family to reconsider talks refusal
Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams has appealed to the family of murdered south Armagh man Paul Quinn to reconsider their refusal to meet him.
Mr Adams says he has made repeated attempts to set up a meeting and that he unequivocally supports the family's right to see the perpetrators jailed.
The Quinn family has refused to meet Sinn Fein because of its comments about the murder of their son.
The 21-year-old was beaten to death during a paramilitary-style attack after being lured to a remote farm in Co Monaghan last October.
His family say he was killed by members of the IRA as a result of a personal disagreement with a republican in south Armagh.
Sinn Fein, however, has claimed the killing resulted from a feud between criminals and had nothing to do with republicans.
