The body of a 54-year-old woman has been recovered from a canal iIn Co Clare this morning.

The body of a 54-year-old woman has been recovered from a canal in Co Clare this morning.

It was discovered between Clonlara village and Barry Cross at around 11am and taken to Limerick Regional Hospital for a post mortem.
