A marine biologist has warned that Ireland's coral reefs are in grave danger as a result of deep-water trawling.

Dr Jason Hall Spencer, a British expert, says he has video evidence to show that vast damage is being caused to coral reefs off the west coast of Ireland.

Dr Spencer is unveiling the footage at the BA Festival of Science in Dublin today.
