A survey of school students in the North shows almost one in five say they have been bullied.

A survey of school students in the North shows almost one in five say they have been bullied.

Figures published today by the Statistics and Research Agency said 17% of respondents to a recent survey said they were bullied or had their belongings damaged or deliberately broken.

Almost one-third of respondents also said they were concerned about their safety in town centres due to gangs and drunken or rowdy behaviour.
