Man killed on motorway is named

The man who was killed in a traffic accident near Kildare town this morning has been named.

He was Eddie Rayburn from Garryard in Cashel, Co Tipperary.

He died instantly when the jeep he was driving crashed into a barrier in the centre median of the M7 Motorway at 2.20am this morning.

Gardaí say he was in his mid 40's.
