Gardaí investigate death in Galway

Gardaí are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a man found on a roadside in Co Galway.

The man was in his twenties and his body was found near his bicycle at about 7.30am close to Ardrahan.

The scene has been preserved and the state pathologist is due to examine the body later today.

Gardaí at Gort are appealing for any information on the man's death.
