Darndale fire family recovering
A family of five is recovering in hospital today after a fire at their home in North County Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The three children, who are aged between seven and 12, are recovering from the effects of smoke inhalation, while their parents are in a stable condition.
The fire broke out at their home in Darndale at around 4am, and an investigation is underway to establish its cause.
The parents were rushed to the Mater, while the children are recovering at Temple Street Children's Hospital.
