LGFA announce details of 2027 Master Fixtures Plan

THE Ladies Gaelic Football Association has confirmed its Master Fixtures Plan for 2027.

The 2027 Lidl National Leagues will commence on Sunday, January 17, with the opening round of fixtures in Division 4.

A week later, on Sunday, January 24, the opening round games in Divisions 1-3 will be played, along with Round 2 in Division 4.

The 2027 Lidl National League Finals will be played over the weekend of Saturday/Sunday, April 3/4. For the Division 1, 2 and 3 Finals, the county that finishes first after all round matches are played will have home advantage.

In the Division 4 Final, home advantage will go to the county that finishes in first place, should they win their semi-final. 

If the team that tops the fourth tier lose out at the semi-final stage, home advantage will go to the qualifying team that finishes in the highest position after the round matches are completed.

Looking further ahead, the 2027 TG4 All-Ireland Championships will get underway on Sunday, May 30, with the opening games in the Junior and Intermediate Championships.

The All-Ireland Senior Championship is due to get underway on Saturday, June 5, with the Senior Championship semi-finals fixed for Saturday, July 17.

The All-Ireland Championships will conclude at Croke Park on Sunday, August 1, with all three finals (Junior, Intermediate and Senior) fixed for Croke Park.

The All-Star Awards banquet, in association with Lidl, will take place on Saturday, November 13, before the 2027 playing season concludes with the AIB All-Ireland Club Finals.

The Intermediate and Senior deciders will be played at Croke Park on Saturday, December 11, while the Junior final will be held on Sunday, December 12.
