Gardaí investigate Dublin shooting

A man is recovering in hospital after being shot in the leg and hip in Dublin early this morning.

The victim was shot by a lone gunman after answering a knock on his door at Oliver Bond Flats, near Kevin St, at around 3am.

The man's condition is not life-threatening. Gardaí have sealed off the scene of the shooting pending technical examination later today.
