ISME wants public bodies to be privatised

The Irish small businesses association has called on the Government to introduce a policy of privatisation in an attempt to reduce the increasing public spending bills.

The ISME says that the issue of public sector pay is spiralling out of control and the benchmarking process is likely to further increase the wages.
