Jobs boost for International Fund

The International Fund for Ireland has helped create over 32,000 jobs since it was created in the mid-1980s, it said in its annual report today.

The International Fund for Ireland has helped create over 32,000 jobs since it was created in the mid-1980s, it said in its annual report today.

An independent study carried out for the Fund by accountants KPMG said between its establishment by the British and Irish governments in 1986 and September 2000 it has assisted 4,409 projects in Northern Ireland and the six southern border counties.
