Delaney boy died from medical condition

Preliminary results released following the examination of Kilkenny boy Willie Delaney, who was exhumed from his grave, indicate he died as result of a medical condition.

Preliminary results released following the examination of Kilkenny boy Willie Delaney, who was exhumed from his grave, indicate he died as result of a medical condition.

The Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, released the report this afternoon.

It had been suspected William Delaney may have died as a result of ill treatment at the industrial school in Letterfrack, Co Galway.
