Nursing staff to hold stoppage over pay arrears

Nursing staff employed by the Eastern Regional Health Authority are to hold a four-hour stoppage next Monday.

Nursing staff employed by the Eastern Regional Health Authority are to hold a four-hour stoppage next Monday.

They will hold a demonstration during the stoppage, which is in protest at alleged errors in salary and arrears payments.

SIPTU's Dublin Health Services branch secretary Paul Bell said the stoppage was organised to have a minimal impact on members of the public.
