Man burnt neighbour’s van over spying fears

A 71-year-old Englishman set fire to a neighbour’s van, endangering the life of a family with a newborn baby, because he believed he was being spied on by MI5.

Robert Dunstan, of Chelet, Dromleigh, Bantry, Co Cork, is presently in involuntary psychiatric care.

However, he was found mentally fit to plead in the case against him at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
