Talk Talk deals sought

TWELVE representatives of the 575 employees of Talk Talk set to lose their jobs in a fortnight are to negotiate redundancy deals with the company.

More than 450 workers at the Waterford call centre packed into a meeting on Monday night to decide on a strategy to try and improve their severance packages.

The meeting came almost two weeks after Talk Talk announced it was to close the company’s base at the IDA industrial estate on Waterford city’s Cork Road.
