New and established names feature at Dolan’s sale in the Rochestown Park Hotel tomorrow, says Des O’Sullivan.

A selection of reasonably priced Irish art and antique oak furniture will come under the hammer at Dolan’s sale, at the Radisson St. Helen’s Hotel, Dublin, at 1pm tomorrow (Nov 3).

A breakfront bookcase from the White Star liner, Celtic, which foundered on rocks at the entrance to Cork Harbour in 1928, comes up at the Lynes and Lynes sale in Carrigtuohill, Co Cork, on Jan 26.

Oil on canvas entitled The Vegetable Seller at Cork, estimate €800 to €1200, at Hegarty’s Auction Rooms, The Bypass, Bandon, on Tuesday, Dec 11, 2012 at 7pm.

Paul Henry’s Old-Age Pensioners comes up at Bonhams in London on November 14. It is estimated at £100,000-£150,000.
