It was a grim day at Wincanton on Thursday as four horses unfortunately lost their lives and jockey Jay Harris had to be airlifted to Hospital.

There was a 30-minute delay to racing at Wincanton after an incident involving two horses in the Elite Racing Novices’ Hurdle.

This afternoon’s meeting at Wincanton goes ahead after the track passed an early morning inspection.
