Dutch owner VNU has put the classified directory Golden Pages up for sale.

THE Golden Pages directory made profits of just under €21 million in 2002, the year it was sold by Eircom for €185m.

Media and information company VNU is to take over eircom's 63% control in Golden Pages.

A leading International media and information company is set to take sole control of the Golden Pages.
