A leading international media and information company is set to take sole control of the Golden Pages.

Eircom has agreed to sell its 63% stake in the Directory for cash consideration of €185m.

Eircom says its decision to sell to VNU reflects the company’s strategy to focus on its core fixed line business. The deal awaits final approval.
