Marty Morrissey has said GAA pundit Joe Brolly “crossed the line” when he referred to him as “ugly” live on air.

“It was a very poor thing to say and I am still cringing about it as I write this.”

RTE have released a statement addressing comments made by Joe Brolly on the Sunday Game, and said a repeat performance “cannot and will not be tolerated”.

It wasn’t all that long ago that Gaelic football was told to contact its solicitor, get its affairs in order.
