Shares of drinks firm Britvic rose more than 4% as it reported a 3.4% increase in third-quarter revenues, boosted by Ballygowan sales in the Republic and Pepsi Max in the UK.

In Ireland, Britvic said its wholesale distributor Counterpoint, “also performed well”. 

Strong sales of brands like Ballygowan and MiWadi drove a 4.1% rise in revenues at the Irish arm of international soft drinks producer Britvic in the first half of its current financial year.
