Garth Brooks Irish tour FAQ: How much are tickets and when do they go on sale?
Country music star Garth Brooks returns to Ireland in 2027
Born Troyal Brooks in Oklahoma, Garth Brooks is a country music singer and songwriter. He’s also hugely successful — Brooks is the biggest-selling artist in US history, the first and only artist to pass 200 million albums sold.
You probably know a good few of his songs: we could go on.
Brooks performed five sold-out gigs in Croke Park between September 9 and 17, 2022.
They followed the dramatic cancellation of his planned five consecutive nights in Croke Park in 2014, which were pulled amid licensing issues.

This time around, Brooks is bringing his music to the fans rather than having his fans travel to Dublin to see him. He will perform two nights at each of the following venues:
- Belfast’s Boucher Road: May 21 and 22, 2027
- Galway’s, Pearse Stadium: May 29 and 30, 2027
- Kilkenny’s Nowlan Park: June 4 and 5, 2027
- Limerick’s Gaelic Grounds: June 11 and 12, 2027
- Cork’s Páirc Uí Chaoimh: June 18 and 19, 2027
Ticket prices have increased significantly since Brooks’s 2022 visit to Ireland. In 2022, tickets for Croke Park were €65.56 per person for general standing, and €81 for general seated, exclusive of booking fees.
For his 2027 dates, tickets for Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick, and Cork are €136.25 for pit and general standing, and €156.25 for seated, while Belfast tickets are all £115 (€137.85). Ticketmaster service charges will also apply.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday, November 12, at 8am from Ticketmaster. There is no presale ahead of the general sale.
Ahead of his final Dublin date in 2022, Brooks admitted to getting inspiration from Ed Sheeran’s tour of Ireland.
“I’m not sure about [Croke] Park. Ed Sheeran, I love to death. I looked at his [tour posters] and he’s got two nights somewhere, two nights somewhere, and a few nights in Croke Park but it was a full tour” he told a pre-show press conference.
“After this week of travelling, I don’t mind coming to you. I just love this place. I want to play here, it’s all I want to do.”
