Country music legend Garth Brooks is returning to Ireland next summer, with gigs at five Irish stadiums, including Cork and Limerick.

He will perform two nights at each location, with Cork’s Páirc Uí Chaoimh on June 18 and 19, 2027 closing the Irish tour.

Earlier dates are for the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on June 11 and 12, Kilkenny’s Nowlan Park on June 4 and 5, Pearse Stadium in Galway on May 29 and 30, and Belfast’s Boucher Road Playing Fields on May 21 and 22.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, November 12 at 8am.

“This has been a dream of mine since the first time we played Ireland. Once you get a taste of how the Irish love music, you can't play there enough,” Brooks said.

Brooks last played in Ireland in 2022, with five nights in Croke Park meaning close to 400,000 people saw the country superstar perform there. It followed the cancellation of a planned five-night run in Dublin in 2014 due to red tape.

Ahead of his fifth concert, he hinted at a return to Ireland — but to venues beyond Dublin, emulating a tour Ed Sheeran did around Ireland.

“I’m not sure about [Croke] Park. Ed Sheeran, I love to death. I looked at his [tour posters] and he’s got two nights somewhere, two nights somewhere, and a few nights in Croke Park but it was a full tour.

“After this week of travelling, I don’t mind coming to you,” he told a pre-show press conference.

“I just love this place. I want to play here, it’s all I want to do.”

Páirc Uí Chaoimh recently hosted Zach Bryan for two nights earlier this year, while other acts to perform at the venue in recent years include Bruce Springsteen, Westlife, Elton John, and Ed Sheeran.

Brooks's tour was teased on social media earlier this week by music promoters Aiken and each venue, with a video clip showing a 'special delivery' notice being wheeled into each location.
