New to the market with Limerick auctioneers REA Dooley Group is a 37-acre grass holding at Dollas, approximately 3km from the town of Croom.

The property is located in a busy corner of the Golden Vale and, as such, will have no shortage of suitors eager to expand their current holding, as well as those looking for a smaller agricultural venture.

With offices in Limerick, Newcastle West and Charleville, the selling agents are well placed to have a good overview on the local land market.

“This is top-quality grazing ground,” says Pat Dooley. “It’s all in one block… there’s a good bit of interest in it, but it’s in a good strong agricultural hinterland where there would be dairy farmers interested in it.

“At this point, we’re undecided whether we’ll go for public auction or whether we’ll continue to sell it as private treaty,” adds Pat. “We’re looking at expressions of interest at the moment.”

Access is via a clear right of way, water and electricity are available and there is good passageway access to all six divisions of the land.

The price expectation is in the region of €15,000/acre.
