New to the market in North Cork with Millstreet-based Dick Pomeroy & Company Auctioneers, is a 47-acre holding in three separate lots.

The property is at Tooreenreaghy, close to the Kerry border and a short distance from Knocknagree, Ballydesmond and Kishkeam.

The land quality is mixed but its location offers a good opportunity for the expanding farmer or even the hobby farmer – particularly with the lots offering smaller bites as well as the entire property.

The lots

Lot 1 consists of 29 acres of mixed-quality lands, with 14 acres classified as rough grazing and 15 acres suited to silage or grazing.

Lot 2 has 9.3 acres of land and encompasses a 3-bay shed and two lean-to structures.

Lot 3 is the smallest lot with 8.6 acres of land. It’s suited to both silage and grazing and also includes a small wooded area.

Lot 4 is the entire holding.

All the lots are physically separate from one another but close in distance.

“It offers potential for a range of farming enterprises,” says selling agent Catherine Pomeroy, “and may appeal to local farmers seeking to expand or purchasers looking for a standalone agricultural unit.”
