The herd incidence of 6.04% is the highest rate Ireland has seen in 15 years.

Discussions of a reset of the bovine TB (TB) programme due to deteriorating TB disease levels are set to take place at the stakeholder meeting.

Minister of Agriculture Martin Heydon said he is calling all key stakeholders for a meeting to discuss the rates of TB to take place on May 8.
