Tirlán increases milk price by 1c/litre
Tirlán chairman John Murphy said that while dairy markets are "generally stable, the board is acutely aware of the severe challenges facing our milk suppliers this season as wet ground conditions make grazing very difficult".
Tirlán has confirmed it will pay a total of 43.08c/litre for March milk supplies.
The March milk price consists of a base price of 39.58c/litre, an increase of 1c; a 3c/litre weather payment; and a sustainability action payment of 0.5c/litre.
