Rathpeacon raises funds for autism

Rathpeacon ICA Guild recently presented in the region of €500 — the proceeds of its fundraising table quiz for ‘Autism Assist Dogs’ — to outgoing Cork Federation president Phil O’Leary.

Fourteen teams took part in the quiz. ICA members came from Grenagh, Whitechurch and Carraig na bhFear guilds, while one lady came from Upper Glanmire Guild. Neighbours and friends outside of ICA also attended the event in Rathpeacon Hall.

Rathpeacon ICA has just held its AGM. “We’ve got a committee for the coming year — this is always a great challenge when there’s a change over of officers,” says guild secretary Alice O’Neill.
