Shellfish Ireland joins ranks of InterTradeIreland ambassadors

Shellfish Ireland has been announced as an InterTradeIreland business ambassador, joining a group of 63 entrepreneurs who are involved in building Ireland’s all-island economy.

The Castletownbere, Co Cork-based seafood company’s role was unveiled at ceremonies attended by President Michael D Higgins and Enterprise Minister Richard Bruton.

Shellfish Ireland chief executive, Michael Cronin, said: “I am extremely excited about the future of Shellfish Ireland which has established itself as one of the main exporters of Irish Shellfish internationally. The company has always shown itself to be a business which attains the highest standards and is trusted by its customers. The new team, which I am proud to lead, will continue that tradition of excellence and build on the strong foundations laid over the last 27 years.”
