There are 33 three-star and 58 two-star exhibits, from a total of 237 new product exhibits, the remainder of which attained one star.

Two or three stars indicate the product is new on the market. One star indicates it is new from the particular exhibitor but that similar products are already available on the market. Of the 33 three-star exhibits, 25 are new in Europe and eight are new in Denmark.

All two-star and three-star new product exhibits are candidates for various Agromek awards, criteria for which are the expectations of farmers and other users regarding the practical value of each product.

* Among the Agromek new products is the DeLaval TSR automatic teat spray robot.

A fully-automatic teat spray robot arm carries out post-milking spraying.

The TSR identifies the individual cow and its teat positioning via a time-of- flight camera which ensures correct application of the teat spray agent.

It is equipped with a safety system to prevent accidents to personnel and livestock.

* The MAFA FW-500 anti-salmonella treatment of grain is designed to increase feed value via improved grain hygiene and increased feed safety.

It heats grain up to about 80°C and then cools it, in order to combat salmonella occurring during on-farm mixing of feed. Heat is supplied with heated and recirculation air. The treatment system can operate automatically round-the-clock. The capacity is 400-500 kg/hour with a grain moisture content of 11-14%.

* The Skovværktøj company’s new product is a new generation of tiny tracking devices which can easily be concealed in items, to help in their recovery following theft or loss, through low-cost monitoring via GPS tracking. The Diims Serie G100 battery-powered, electronic tracking device can easily be installed, and the property’s last known position will be registered via radio technology and mapped nationwide .

* Farmers who have lost mirrors off their machines may be interested in Grene’s new product — a range of universal side mirrors for installation on tractors and other vehicles. The mirrors are electrically adjustable via a switch in the operator cabin, and have integrated heating for quick removal of moisture.
