Processors price lambs day by day as market nervousness grows

An increased supply of lambs coming to the market has added to the downward pressure on prices at the factories, where there has been a sharp decline in quotes for the second consecutive week.

The factory quotes for lambs have been reduced by 20-30c/kg, with some of the processors not offering any quotes for lambs this week and pricing day by day, which usually indicates nervousness about market returns going forward.
