The QPAD Mark Model 3 is a lightweight wireless mouse that focuses on the basics, but executes them well. It combines a simple design with strong performance, making it a practical choice for both gaming and everyday use.

Design

The QPAD Mark Model 3 keeps things simple, but it works. It’s lightweight (59g) and well-balanced, making it easy to move quickly without feeling bulky. The symmetrical shape suits both palm and claw grips, and it feels natural after just a short time of use. That said, the smooth finish and ultra-light design can feel a bit slippery during longer sessions.

QPAD includes self-adhesive grip pads that make a noticeable difference once applied, improving both comfort and control. They also look great and add to the overall design.

On the base of the mouse, there is a slider switch that lets you toggle between off, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz modes.

The Mark Model 3 sticks to the essentials but adds a couple of top-notch extras. Battery life is excellent, offering up to 88 hours on a single charge. That’s more than enough for several weeks of mixed work and gaming without needing to plug in.

The QPAD Vision Display, built into the 2.4Ghz wireless dongle, is another nice touch. It shows battery life, DPI setting and polling rate in real time, so you don’t need to open software just to check your settings. While the extra information on the display is useful and easy to see at a glance, I would not consider it a must-have feature.

And, of course, you can plug the mouse into your computer to charge it while continuing to use it.

Software

QPAD Mark Mice software lets you customise your mouse. You can configure DPI settings in 10-step increments, set polling rates (up to 4,000 Hz), save up to five DPI presets, assign macros, remap buttons, and manage RGB lighting. The software is free to download from the QPAD website and supports Windows, but it does not support Mac users.

In use, the Model 3 delivers consistent and reliable performance. Tracking is smooth and accurate, whether you’re making small adjustments in a shooter or moving quickly across the screen. The wireless connection is stable, with no noticeable lag or dropouts. It handles both gaming and everyday tasks with ease, which makes it a solid all-rounder.While the benefits of a super-light mouse, especially for fast-paced games, are well sought after, not everyone enjoys using one. Some players find that an extremely light mouse can feel less stable or harder to control, particularly for precise movements. In those cases, a slightly heavier mouse may feel more comfortable and offer better control, depending on personal preference.

Verdict

The QPAD Mark Model 3 is a straightforward, dependable wireless mouse. It doesn’t try to do too much, but what it does, it does extremely well. With excellent battery life, stable performance and a comfortable design once the grips are applied, it’s a good option for both gaming and daily use.
