Most phones now come with wireless charging coils, and being able to simply drop a device onto a pad at my desk or on my nightstand without the frustration of hunting for a cable is a huge convenience. It provides those quick top-ups you might need during a busy day without any unnecessary clutter or the constant struggle of plugging and unplugging leads.

The Mophie 4-in-1 wireless charger is an incredibly stylish piece of technology. The champagne colour I received for this review feels premium and looks excellent on my desk. The way the champagne finish interacts with ambient light is quite lovely, giving my workspace a much more polished appearance.

In my testing, the phone itself works exactly as promised by keeping the device relatively cool during charging. This is important for anyone worried about long-term battery health. However, I did notice that the base where all the charging tech is housed can get quite warm under heavy use. This happened to me when I was pushing the unit to its limit. During one particular session, I had my iPhone on the wireless pad, my Apple Watch Ultra on its dedicated spot, and my AirPods Pro on the base, while also using the integrated retractable cable to charge another phone. The base of the unit became quite warm, and the heat from the base transferred to my AirPods Pro.

It's worth noting that Mophie includes a powerful 100W power adapter to help manage this load, which is clearly necessary for such a high-capacity setup.

I also found that while these chargers are designed for MagSafe, they work perfectly with my Google Pixel phones using Pixel Snap. Another feature I really liked was the tiltable design of the stand. This allows you to adjust your iPhone to a comfortable viewing angle, which is perfect for checking notifications or using the StandBy mode at night.

Mophie Roam 3-in-1 Travel Charger
