Snapchat’s parent company has confirmed a restructuring of the business which will see it cut staff numbers by around 20%.

Snap Inc chief executive and Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel said the changes would allow the technology company to focus on “three strategic priorities” of community growth, revenue growth and augmented reality.
