The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) announced on Friday it will hold a bond auction on on Thursday, March 12. 

The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) announced on Friday it will hold a bond auction on on Thursday, March 12. 

Details of the bond auction will be announced will be given on Monday, March 9. The auction will be held "subject to market conditions", the NTMA said. "The NTMA also intends to issue a new bond by syndication during the quarter."

The NTMA plans to issue €10bn to €14bn of bonds during the year, and also intends to conduct at least one syndicated bond deal during the year.

“The €10bn to €14bn bond funding range for 2026 reflects the €15 billion in debt maturities next year," said NTMA director of funding and debt management Dave McEvoy said in October.

"The strong Exchequer funding position means we are well positioned entering 2026”.
