Organic dairy brand Glenisk has achieved B Corp certification, a global standard for social and environmental accountability and transparency.
Glenisk was established in 1987 by the Cleary family Killeigh, County Offaly and produces a range of yoghurts, milk, and other dairy products. Glenisk recorded pre-tax profits of €885,604 in 2025 following two years of losses due to the ‘devastating’ fire that destroyed the firm’s production plant in 2021 and managing director Vincent Cleary expects revenue this year to be up 15% from 2025 to €27m.

"As a family business, we've always believed that how we produce our food is just as important as the food itself. Our commitment to organic farming, looking after the land and building lasting relationships with our farming families, has been at the heart of Glenisk from the beginning," said Mr Cleary.
Glenisk produces 300,000 servings of yogurt per day. "Our ambition is to build a successful Irish food business that makes a positive contribution to people, communities and the environment, not just today but for generations to come," said Mr Cleary.
Glenisk employs around 80 people and works with approximately 50 farming families across Ireland.
B Corp Certification is administered by B Lab and recognises companies that meet requirements for verified social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. Certification assesses how a business operates and its impact on stakeholders.
