Here is a selection of people starting new roles with Central Statistics Office, Ibec, Environmental Protection Agency, Meritas, Mason Hayes & Curran and Engage XR Holdings.
Jennifer Banim has been appointed as director general of the Central Statistics Office, its first female DG since its creation in 1949. She has been a member of the CSO’s board since 2013, and was its assistant DG. Having joined the CSO as a statistician in 1991, she has worked across financial and statistics roles. She is currently co-chair of the executive board of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) High Level Group on the Modernisation of Statistics. She holds BSc in Applied Math Sciences from UCD and a diploma in Strategy Development and Innovation from UCD’s Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
