In her role with Future Planet, Debbie Power guides companies on their sustainability journeys and the regulatory requirements to tackle the climate crisis. Her responsibilities encompass all commercial aspects of the business as companies undertake the major changes required to meet the sustainability reporting requirements of the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which came into effect in January.

“As I have been in technology now for 25 years, each job builds on the next somewhat, and that is not any different this time around," she said. As an experienced leader in the areas of strategic planning, organisational development, sales and marketing, she has held senior roles at Johnson Controls, Vodafone and BT. In a background that spanned data communications and IoT across Ireland, Europe, and emerging markets, her tenure at Johnson Controls, which included roles as Director of Strategic Accounts & Partnerships, Director of Ecosystems EMEALA, and Digital Solutions Director, saw her at the forefront of the company's pioneering sustainability solutions.
